I would like to strongly suggest that the BOE should ask Jo to leave NOW, and agree to pay her salary until July 1st - she should be off school premises immediately. She will do more harm than good. That is proper protocol in a business, when a high profile person resigns - they are asked to go right away, due to confidentiality, conflict of interest, etc.
She should not be involved with developing a new budget at all.
We will know Tuesday what will happen. I believe there is plenty of paid days and vacation accrued to offset the next few weeks.
Make sure you come out to the meeting and voice your support this Tuesday.
