The district website is mearly a snapshot of what is going on in the district.
Each school has its own Edline page which the school updates with their own events. I regret to say that it isn't possible for me to cover every event in the district especially if I do not know about it.
I invite teachers, parents and staff to send me any stories they would like to see on the site. If you have photos and a little information about the event, I would love to post it.
Also, If you send me the information in advance, I might be able to cover the event myself. I am an AP district resident.

Thank you, Jackie, for letting us all know how to contact you and get our items to you.
I speak from experiance of knowing that Jackie has had to deal with JoMo trying to filter questions and letters that were not favorable towards Jo. Jackie has stood up for the person that has written the letter or posed the hard questions and demand Jo to give an answer. The answer that is given is from Jo's mouth, not Jackie's.
Don't make her guilty by association. Just because someone works directly with Jo does not mean that she or he believes that Jo is the God that the "We Love" site and BOE does.
She works for Questar III, there's the guilty by association.
Just to be clear, Dr. Moccia has her very own little section on the District website:
Under "Superintendant News", then under "Weekly Staff Newsletter", and then under "District News Emails", you will find such gems from Jo as:
"Enjoy your week. Jo"
and "Whew, it is must be June!" - (what, did Jo make a typing mistake with that one?)
This is what I think you are all referring to, when saying Jo "forgets" to mention certain schools, students, etc. Remember, to Jo, most of us are really just "bottom feeders". Accept the fact that this is how she views us. In fact, if I can play junior psychologist, I think Jo thinks of most people as beneath her - not just parents and taxpayers.
Is Jackie Geraci the "ghost writer" on this? Who cares? Asking for attention from Jo Moccia is like thinking the Wizard of Oz was real. Listen, pay no attention to that bi*#h behind the curtain - Jo is a biased clown. Only certain students will ever matter, certain sports, etc.
What did we expect, that she would hightlight the "exciting school closings" in her weekly staff newsletter? I doubt any of the staff even read her crap anyway! If you find yourself caring if Jo mentions certain topics or not, then your attention is way off the real issues. Let's look at the topics that we need to address - for example, closing a school based on bold-faced lies, and causing a dangerous overcrowding situation that will be the basis of future lawsuits.
I have to say, as peeved as I am at Questar moving in to our beloved school and pushing out our children, it doesn't seem fair to make a general disapproval of Jackie because she works for them. That would be like saying I blame every state worker, no matter how small of a job they do, for the state's problems. If Jackie stands up to JoMo...more power to her and the better for those of us who refuse to drink the kool aid. It's one more person that sees what's going on around here.
Wow you people just don't get it, I could careless if Jackie stands up to Jo, if that is even true, she works for Questar III. What do I have to do put it on a shirt "Got Questar" We stay connected to these people for a reason. People will believe anything, do you really think she would still be working for this district if she stood up to the puppet master, No, but because she is working for Questar III that is why she still has a job. Whatever, believe what you want Questar will soon be running this district, if it already hasn't started.
I find it unbieveable that we have people within this district that attack employees that are doing there job. I am sure that Jackie has certain things that she must do. And if she stands up to her boss or bosses is no bodies business but Jackie's. If you have a problem with the leasership, attack the leadership. Also go to the BOE meetings instead of sitting home. Get out and beat the streets and get people behind you. All this is doing is dividing the district even further. And if you are still unhappy, sell your house and go to another district. We surely have problems but address them to the people that are making the policies.

And that is what we have been doing for the last six months, going after the leadership, going door to door and going to every board meeting, I think I Have missed one board meeting in the last five months so nice try. We have been ignored, laughed at and shoved under the rug, so don't even try it. Trust me if I could I would love to move my kids out of this district, because the worst is yet to come. Oh and Bill, I wonder if I Wasted a vote on you? OK, are you happy Jackie is doing her job, yippeee, here is a pat on the back for her. I never said she wasn't I Said, once again, she works for Questar III, you know the people who stole the school right out from under my kids. Get it NOW.
all the teachers and employees that squeak to the public behind the scenes. need to stand up and tell there leaders how they feel, your not only letting the kids down but also yourselves, can you live with that. if you get fired for saying your peace nail them were it hurts the teachers union seems to have your back. let it rip come on . I hear to many teachers and employees complain how bad things are and going to be but they are afraid to stand up because of the way this machine works . its to the point now job or dignity I have seen so many good employees kissing ass and turn on their school and kids it amazes me Mrs Secretary you know who you are, you should be ashamed of yourself. no job is worth what is happening to this district..

Sorry, sweetheart, you're getting a little nuts here and discrediting this site and everyone else's post by your constant ranting and bitchings about things that are done and over with. Get a grip on reality and stop taking your anger out on innocent people and direct it at the ones that caused your heartache.
You aren't the only one that has problems with the district and Moccia and GW closing is not the only problem the district has. Stop being so self centered and look at the whole picture that includes ALL the districts kids and ALL the district employee's - not just you!
If it wasn't Queststar it would of been someone else. They did not steal your precious school, it was the Administration and the BOE that let you down. Put the blame where it belongs. They didn't listen then and they won't listen until the BOE is changed and that won't happen until we get the majority. Tater, Foster, Schaffer and Zweig is running the board. So lets get Tater out next year and the year after that get either Foster or Zweig out. Now that is a plan. But remember, the majority of the voters have put is in this position. So let educate them to try to correct the problem.

We don't need to argue between ourselves, there are other things we can move onto.
There will be things that we will never agree on 100% of the time. That is ok, it's life.
We do need to always remember and never let it happen again. The goal is to right the wrong and learn from the experience.
How are we coming with the state ed complaint forms?
They voted on contracts last nite. There has been no review completed on Moccia. Anyone looking into an extension of a contract before a review?
Where is the research department?
Boo freaken hooo, this district and the employees need a swift kick in the ass. I agree with what is being said and maybe if the district would stand back and take a look they would see that most of the teachers in this district, and certain receptionists, turned there back on students and schools, but as long as they are comfortable, that's all that matters. And as for Bill, well we will see what happens when he is in the seat, I hope he doesn't turn out to be like all the other politicians, and board members.

Word is that Goldstein is headed to WSL, not as principal, not sure what the position is, run for the hills WSL, it is about time someone else gets to feel our pain. Also heard that the district is not cutting 26 teaching positions they are only cutting 3, so isn't that nice we save the teachers but screw the kids, thanks so much AP. Remember "kids first". What a joke.

Thanks for understanding. I am trying not to be the person they have been told I will be.

Just a person who did not get some post published. and will always be angry, that the town of Brunswick got screwed, and yea I know I am suppose to get over it. its in the past but I never will sorry. I love this site here and would rather keep the fight here but you should not pick and choose because teachers or secretary's will get mad. a lot of backs were turned on the parents and kids by the innocent employees some not all but some.
